Relating to state system for career and technical education.

Abstract

Establishes state policy that career and technical education is provided through seamless system that begins at secondary school level and progresses to post-secondary career and technical education institutions, community colleges and apprenticeship programs. Directs Department of Education, Higher Education Coordinating Commission and Teacher Standards and Practices Commission to advance policy. Directs Department of Education, Higher Education Coordinating Commission and Teacher Standards and Practices Commission to regularly examine current system of career and technical education and to annually report to interim committees of Legislative Assembly related to education.
